Thanks a lot everyone! I am lucky. I spend close 500 hours or more on the water with these guys every summer. Like my mom always said, "Find a job that you love to do, and you'll never work another day in your life". I agree.
Off of Saturna Island we encountered a superpod - all three southern resident orca families. J, K, and L Pods all together and celebrating. No matter where we looked there was a whale breaching in our field of vision. Here is a member of K Pod, one of 85 orcas we were with that day!
